Les Diablerets, a family village

Nestling at an altitude of 1200 m in the heart of the Vaudoises Alps, Les Diablerets is an authentic mountain village situated at the foot of an imposing mountain range and topped by a majestic glacier.

Entirely made up of chalets, the village enjoys a great cachet and has managed to develop while preserving its heritage. During the winter and summer seasons, the main street is transformed into a convivial space where you can enjoy this typical atmosphere in complete tranquillity. Walks along the river “la Grande Eau” take the walkers out of time. Far from any urban stress, Les Diablerets is only 120 km from Geneva airport and less than 40 km from Montreux.

Its main town, Vers l’Eglise, a small bucolic village 3 km away, dating from the end of the 13th century, offers you the chance to discover its chapel built in 1396, which became a temple in 1530 and whose interior will dazzle you with its authentic and preserved setting.  Opposite the church, the Musée des Ormonts (Ormonts Museum) sets up temporary exhibitions whose mission is to preserve and present Ormonan traditions and heritage..
