Information on health standards related to COVID for safe winter emotions
telemarkers, tobogganers, cross-country skiers, speed riders, ski tourers,
Dear lovers of mountain scenery in winter,
We have some good news for you! In the Swiss mountains too, the 2020/2021 ski season will be able to start as planned, in compliance with all health protection measures against COVID-19 contamination. “Everyone on the slopes! “This motto applies in Switzerland, even with the coronavirus.
The ski areas and ski lifts throughout Switzerland have taken all the necessary preventive measures in order to be able to apply all the recommendations of the public authorities for the safety of their guests. This means that nothing stands in the way of enjoying the snow and winter holidays.
Safety measures are required in the cabins and cable cars: nose and mouth protection is mandatory. According to the current state of the art, it is not absolutely necessary to wear a conventional safety mask; certified multifunctional necklaces also provide the necessary protection. Further conditions and restrictions due to coronavirus are not envisaged.
Dear guests, it is therefore possible for you to plan and book your excursion or holiday in the Swiss mountains safely and confidently. In the event of a coronavirus incident on site, we guarantee you flexible and conciliatory treatment for the services affected.
In the ski areas, preparations for the winter season are in full swing. This season is important for our employees, for us and for the mountain regions. We look forward to the start of the season and to your visit, dear guests from Switzerland and abroad.
Cordial greetings from the Swiss Alps,
The “Tous en piste!” committee
