First glides, first turns and, above all, the joy of learning to ski!
In the heart of Les Diablerets, our Snow Garden welcomes beginner children aged 4 to 14 in a fun, reassuring and specially designed learning environment.
Guided by our professional ski instructors, young skiers discover the joy of skiing, develop their balance, learn to control their speed and make their first turns.
Every child progresses at their own pace, with encouragement, confidence and plenty of fun.

🏔️ The Snow Garden: The Perfect Place to Start Skiing
Our dedicated beginners’ area provides a welcoming environment where children can discover skiing gently and confidently.
Young skiers benefit from:
- A magic carpet lift to make going uphill easy.
- A beginner-friendly rope tow for their first skiing experiences.
- A gentle slope to practise gliding, stopping and turning.
- Fun, progressive exercises suited to their abilities.
No lift pass is required as long as lessons take place exclusively in our beginners’ area.

🍎 A Well-Deserved Little Break
A short snack break is included during the lesson to help children recharge their energy.

Practical Information
Group Organisation
Group lessons require a minimum of 3 children registered at the same ability level.
If this minimum is not reached, the Swiss Ski School Les Diablerets reserves the right to reduce the lesson duration to 1 hour or combine groups of similar ability levels.
Ski Equipment
Every child must arrive with ski equipment suitable for their age and ability level.
Equipment rental is not included in the lesson price, and no rental equipment is available at the meeting point.
📍 Meeting Point
The meeting point is at the bottom of the slopes in Les Diablerets, near the Diablerets Express gondola, in front of our beginners’ area.
Please arrive a few minutes before the lesson begins.

Group ski lessons take place in our beginner area, at the foot of the Les Diablerets ski slopes, from Sunday to Friday, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, during school holidays.

Course timetable
Morning group ski lessons take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Required level
Beginner or first experience.
Meeting place
Your child will be welcomed from 9:45 am in front of our beginner area, located at the bottom of the Diablerets Express gondola.
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the lesson begins. The ski instructor will provide your child with their lesson participation card.

Material
Ski equipment can be rented from our local partners:
Jacky Sports – Holiday Sport – Passe-Montagne.
Equipment rental is not included in the lesson price. Ski equipment cannot be rented directly at our beginner area.
No ski pass is required in our beginner area. A magic carpet conveyor lift and a rope tow are available free of charge to children during their lessons.

Package of 5 ski or snowboard lessons
The smooth running of the course is being prepared. Adequate equipment and the child's enthusiasm will contribute to the success of the course.
- Prepare your child for the ski school to enjoy it.
- Dress your child warmly. Gloves, adapted equipment, ski goggles and sun cream.
- Wearing a helmet is highly recommended.
- Your child must have the participation card with the telephone number of one of the parents.
- Be punctual for the beginning and end of the courses, Thank you!
- Your child progresses at his own pace, he must have fun above all.
- Trust our instructors and do not interfere in the lessons.
- Inform us of any health problems your child may have.
- Don't focus on the success of a level but on its progression.
- Don't be disappointed if your child doesn't pass his or her level and doesn't get a medal. The important thing is that he had a nice holiday.
