From 4 years old – All levels – 1 to 4 participants
Private lessons can be booked for a minimum duration of 2.5 hours, up to a full day of 6 hours.

Lessons take place between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm, depending on weather conditions, ski lift operations and instructor availability.

📍 Meeting Point – Scex Rouge
Your meeting point with your ski instructor is at Scex Rouge, Glacier 3000, outside the upper cable car station, near the stairs leading to the shop.
🚠 How to Reach the Meeting Point – Cable Car Departure
To reach the meeting point at Scex Rouge, you must take the Glacier 3000 cable cars.
Departure station: Col du Pillon
From Col du Pillon, take two consecutive cable car sections:
- Col du Pillon → Cabane des Diablerets
- Cabane des Diablerets → Scex Rouge
Depending on the season and which lifts are operating, access may also be possible from Reusch.
Important: Please check which departure stations are open and the current cable car operating hours before travelling.
Important: Allow enough time for both cable car journeys and arrive at the Scex Rouge meeting point a few minutes before your lesson begins.
⚠️ Important Information – Weather and Operations
Glacier 3000 is a high-altitude ski area. Weather conditions, particularly strong winds, may cause temporary closures of the cable cars and other facilities.
We recommend checking the latest weather conditions and the operational status of the lifts on the official Glacier 3000 website before travelling.
If the facilities close due to weather conditions, Swiss Ski School Les Diablerets cannot be held responsible for the closure. Where possible, an alternative date will be offered, subject to availability.
We recommend booking your private lesson at least 48 hours in advance.
Practical Information
Ski pass: The ski pass is not included in the lesson price. It must be purchased separately at the lift ticket offices or via the Glacier 3000 website.
Equipment: Ski equipment rental is not included in the lesson price.

Lessons are organised subject to weather and snow conditions, lift operations and instructor availability.
Course timetable
Private ski lessons are available from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, depending on the selected lesson duration and instructor availability.
The minimum lesson duration is 2.5 hours, with the option to book a full six-hour day.
Required level
All ability levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced skiers and snowboarders.
Our professional instructors tailor each lesson to your experience, pace and personal goals, whether you are discovering skiing or snowboarding, improving your technique or developing your skills further.
Lessons are available from age 4.
Meeting place
The meeting point is located at the top of Glacier 3000, at Scex Rouge, outside the upper cable car station.
Please allow enough time for the cable car journey and arrive a few minutes before your lesson begins.
Material
The equipment required for your lesson can be rented from our partners in Les Diablerets:

Lesson prices do not include equipment rental or lift passes.
Important: no ski equipment rental is available at Glacier 3000.
Please make sure you rent your equipment in Les Diablerets before travelling to the glacier.

What if three days were all you needed to discover the joy of skiing?
Have you always wanted to learn to ski but never quite taken the first step? Swiss Ski School Les Diablerets offers a personalised programme to help you discover skiing and make rapid progress.
From 9 to 99 years old, it's never too late to learn!
With your own ski instructor, you will learn the fundamentals of skiing, improve your balance and gradually develop the skills needed to control your turns.
Your goal: to ski down blue slopes with parallel skis after three days of lessons.
And if you don't achieve this goal, we'll offer you an additional lesson free of charge!
